Dengue cases over 500 a week and 7 people dying so far in 2020

Cases have more than doubled compared to the same period last year, topping 7,400 so far. The 7 deceased were between 60 and 80 years of age and had lived or worked within dengue clusters, according to the National Environment Agency (NEA).
In the first quarter of the year, NEA officers found 4,600 mosquito breeding habitats. There are 123 active clusters at the moment, with three large clusters having more than 100 infections each.
